Win a lunch with Australia’s First Man, Tim Mathieson, in aid of Variety Club Australia, the Children First Foundation and the Cathy Freeman Foundation The opportunity to dine with Australia’s First Man, Tim Mathieson, will be available at a charity lunch of Miss World Australia finalists. The Lodge meal, for four people, with Mr Mathieson will be auctioned at the Melbourne Club CQ on 26th August. Miss World Australia will subsequently be selected on 27th August by a judging panel including Lillian Frank and Molly Meldrum. Other famous people that will be involved with the charity lunch are Wayne Carey, Brendan Fevola, Jeff French and Tania Zaetta. Miss World Australia officials have said they'll give all proceeds to charity. In addition to this, Tim Mathieson has offered to help with another Miss World event in Australia. The Prime Minister’s Office thoroughly endorses the beauty with a purpose ethos and wants to build role models for Australia. A spokeswoman for the prime minister said that Mr Mathieson is frequently invited to help charities and is delighted to be supporting such beneficial causes with this charity auction. |
