Miss World 2011 representative from Barbados, Taisha Carrington, is partnering with the Delegation of the European Union to Barbados and the Easter Caribbean to raise awareness of paediatric cancer in the region. Taisha participated in the Miss World 2011 final at Earls Court in London on the 6th of November, 2011. During the competition, Taisha spoke about the affects of cancer, giving a wonderful performance combining an art drawing and dance (pictured above). Her charity project, “Heart and Soul,” focuses on raising money for children battling cancer, in addition to helping keep joy in their hearts through reading, art sessions and various fun days.
